During a time of loss and grief, it can be hard for friends and family to deal with the stresses of planning a funeral. I am here to help create and conduct a funeral that truly represents your loved one, and hopefully ease your bereavement and help with the healing.

Those experiencing loss should have time to process, however they are feeling when making decisions about a loved one’s funeral, taking their time as they consider what they really want from a service. I endeavor to help you understand and be informed of all your options, so you can make empowering choices that don’t have to cost a fortune. I am available to you immediately and will work with you as soon as it is convenient to you.

Trained through Life Skills and Deathwalker Training at the Natural Death Care Centre, I am able to share legal, practical and emotional information and resources to guide and empower you, so you know what your options are, to make informed choices and participate fully in each stage of the journey. I can assist you and support you in making plans for the ceremony or a life celebration, including coffins, locations, intention, music, readings, speakers, environmental considerations, burial on private ground, cardboard or handmade coffins, or bio-degradable urns.

Whether the loss is sudden or expected, I aim to help and support you whatever your spiritual, religious or scientific beliefs.

To those who are aware that they will need a funeral soon, I can come and help you as you put into place a death plan and funeral arrangements, or just sit and be with you as you contemplate this process.

Death is an inevitable part of life and I encourage everyone to plan how they would like their funeral to be during life. Coming to a place of acceptance of our own death as well as those we love helps us cope when the time comes. By being courageous enough to look at the fears we hold around living and dying, we allow ourselves to face them fully, work with them and transform them.

Funerals are an important step that help us to honour a loved one in an authentic manner, and say farewell in whatever way suits you. I can help guide you through this in an open and compassionate way, to create a fitting tribute.
